The composition was written on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation which was celebrated in 2017.
The text is original Martin Luther. There are short sentences taken from various speeches and scriptures. In the center are two verses from the hymn "Of deepest distress I must cry" (Aus tiefer Not ich schrei zu dir).
This composition was written to celebrate the 500 years anniversary of Lutheran reformation. It uses short text passages from different speeches and scripts written by Martin Luther. As a central idea placed in the middle part you will find the hymn "Aus tiefer Not ich schrei zu dir" (From deep affliction I cry out to you).
